"In the past two days we have received reports regarding potential safeguarding issues in a school. These incidents involved an app. called 'Musical.ly' which is a social media app that allows children to dub music and share it with friends.

Two incidents involved requests from strangers for inappropriate images of children and a third involved password sharing. In each case, the children are safe because the children and their families reacted in the correct way. The incidents have been reported to the police."
