Sixth Form News
The new term has started well with all of our new students settling into Sixth Form life and making the most of the opportunities presented to them. We are delighted that so many students, from CTK and other schools, have chosen to join us in Year 12 and we look forward to a productive and successful year ahead.
Again this year we are the host school for students from abroad and are delighted to welcome Cami, Inigo, Mahaut, Veronica, Eduardo, Veronica, Theo, Pauline, Miriam, Marina, Vilma, Greta, Eva, Emil, Cesare, Konstantina and Emily who will be with us until June.
UCAS REMINDER - Year 13 students intending to apply to university should be aiming to complete their UCAS applications as soon as possible. All draft personal statements and applications should have been seen and agreed by mentors and our internal deadline for ‘send to referee’ is Friday 6th November. This is to ensure that we have plenty of time to quality assure applications before they are submitted to UCAS. We would be grateful for parental support with this.
Our early applicants (for Oxbridge, Medicine and Veterinary Science) have already submitted their applications and we eagerly await news of interviews and offers.
Year 12-13 PARENTS EVENING - This will be held on Thursday 3rd December from 3.30pm to 6.30pm. Letters and appointment sheets will be sent out in due course.
