Sixth Form start of term information

THURSDAY 3rd SEPTEMBER – YEAR 12 INDUCTION AT CHRIST THE KING

The programme for the day will be:

9.15am

Welcome assembly in the Main Hall

9.30 - 10.15am

Information presentations in the Main Hall, explaining different aspects of life at Christ the King Sixth Form

10.15 - 10.50am

Photographs will be taken for your ID lanyards, new students will be able to register for the Cashless Catering system, optional tours of school

10.50 – 11.15am

Brunch will be provided in the Senior Canteen/Sixth Form Common Room

11.15 – 12.00 noon

Form Tutor session where you will receive your timetables and complete other enrolment procedures, as well has having the opportunity to meet your fellow students

12.00 – 12.15pm

Meet a Mentor session which will provide an opportunity to find out more about our mentoring system

12.15pm

FRIDAY 4th SEPTEMBER - SIXTH FORM LESSONS BEGIN

Please arrive at your Tutor base ready for registration at 8.40am

If you have any questions or queries in the meantime, do not hesitate to contact us. Staff will be in school on Thursday 20th, Friday 21st and Monday 24th August and from Tuesday 1st September onwards.

We look forward to welcoming you into Year 12.

ARRANGEMENTS FOR THE START OF TERM (YEAR 13)

Thursday 3rd September – This day is set aside for you to work from home continuing with your UCAS application/personal statement and any work that you need to complete ready for your return. You may use the Study facilities in the Atrium if you wish. Please remember to sign in/sign out in the Atrium so that we have an accurate record of who is in school.

Friday 4th September – A2/BTEC lessons will begin. Please attend a Year 13 Introductory assembly at 8.40am in the Main Hall where timetables will be distributed.
