Deputy Headship

On Friday 1 May governors interviewed internal candidates for the vacancy of Deputy Head caused by Mr Morrissey’s retirement at the end of the Summer term.

In view of the calibre of the candidates and taking account of external advice, we have decided to return to the ‘2 Deputy Heads’ structure which was in place until a few years ago.

As a result we appointed Ms Anita Stead and Mr Peter Halsall as Deputy Heads from the Autumn term 2015.

We congratulate them on their appointments and look forward to working with them in their new roles.
