The Science Faculty at Christ the King believe that an understanding of Science is fundamental to a person’s success in modern society. We aim to provide a stimulating and engaging experience for pupils of all abilities. We will consistently challenge pupils to perform to the highest possible standard.

We continue to record improving results at both Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5.  Teaching in the faculty is inspiring, innovative and includes strategies that have allowed pupils' understanding to further develop. Pupils will use many key skills that will prove useful to future employers or further study including the abilities to observe, analyse, research, and evaluate evidence and to present their findings confidently in written, oral or electronic form.
We offer a range of educational pathways to cater for the individual needs of all pupils. These pathways provide alternative routes through Key Stage 4 and onward to post-16 study and Higher Education. We also offer a range of enrichment activities to take our students beyond the curriculum.
