Welcome to Religious Education

The Religious Education Department aims to equip all pupils with the skills so that can achieve their full potential at Key Stages 3, 4 and 5.

We aim to ensure that pupils are able to reflect on their own beliefs and spirituality.

Every pupil is given the opportunity to uncover and examine the Catholic faith and Christian community they belong to. Through their studies, pupils will also be given the opportunity to explore other World Religions.

Through our teaching we will focus on developing pupils’ literacy and creative skills, so enabling pupils to engage with others confidently regardless of religion, culture or background.

In the Autumn Term 2013, the school and department underwent an Archdiocese Section 48 Inspection and the school was described as a Good Catholic School with many outstanding features.
