Sefton Super Reads

On 24 February, four of our readers who are taking part in this year’s Sefton Super Reads listened to Paul Dowswell talk about his latest book ‘Red Shadow’ in the Meadows Leisure Centre, Magull. He spoke about the time period and place in which his book is set which was World War II Russia. This fascinated our readers because the genre was so different from the books they had read before and the history they have learnt in lessons. Joining with the other schools who are involved in Sefton Super Reads this year has made us even more keen to review all the books on our reading list and we can’t wait for the awards ceremony in June!
