There are two offerings for prospective Sixth Form students :

Physical Education

A-Level Physical Education is a challenging course in both its practical and academic content. For the conscientious and committed student this is a thoroughly enjoyable area of study.

Sport BTEC Level 3 Subsidiary Diploma

This course is for pupils who really enjoy both the practical and theory side of PE lessons, but prefer to be assessed through written and practical tasks that are set throughout the 2 years rather than in a written exam at the end of Years 12 and 13. As this is a vocational course, all students will be expected to conduct their own research into each the topics/themes covered in each unit to submit an assignment that is at the required level (Pass, Merit or Distinction). Your teacher will explain the task/assignment set and the assessment criteria/evidence you must produce. Lessons will usually take place in the PE ICT Room and will spill over into the practical areas of the gym, sports hall, yard, courts and field when necessary.
