There are four offerings for prospective Sixth Form students:

Applied ICT
You will study the effects of ICT on our lives and you will learn how to use ICT tools such as spreadsheets and databases to solve problems within businesses and other organisations. You will also learn how to produce ICT presentations that interact in an engaging manner with the user.

Computing
The course is not about learning to use tools or just training in a programming language. Instead the emphasis is on computational thinking. Computational thinking is a kind of reasoning used by both humans and machines. Thinking computationally is an important life skill. Thinking computationally means using abstraction and decomposition.

BTEC Level 3 Subsidiary Diploma in IT
You will learn about the importance of IT in the workplace and you will gain some knowledge about the way computer systems work. You will also evaluate, design and make computer games.
