•Preparation for external 10 hour exam.



How will I be assessed?

Unit 1 Portfolio of work.
60% Of final GCSE grade. Student portfolio selected from work undertaken during course of study and must include more than one project



Unit 2 Externally Set Task.
40% of final GCSE grade. 10 hours of sustained focused study. Candidates respond to their chosen starting point which is set by the AQA Board.

Career Opportunities
Many students go on to take higher education in art and design, then aim to join the world of advertising
as graphic designers, games designers, illustrators, or become painters, sculptors, textile designers, fashion
designers, photographers to name just a few.
